Agent-built knowledge base

A wiki that an agent compiles from raw notes.

What it is

The idea, from Andrej Karpathy, is to drop raw notes into a folder and let a model compile them into linked wiki pages. Scripts handled ingest, compile, search and lint. A second, smaller knowledge base on the open-source gbrain engine now receives the intel scan's notes.

By the numbers

42Wiki articles, with 233 links between them, checked 2026-10-08
14Broken links the checker found that day

What it means for your team

A shared wiki that an agent keeps tidy is a reasonable first project for a small team. It needs a person to own it, or it drifts.

Status

The wiki pages have not been recompiled since April 2026. The graph rebuild last ran in July and failed because it calls a Python version that has since been removed, a one-line fix not yet made. The approach is Karpathy's and the second engine is another developer's open-source project.

AHow it works
1

Ingest

Raw documents go into one folder as they are.

2

Compile

A model turns them into linked wiki pages in Obsidian.

3

Check

Search and lint scripts find duplicates and broken links.
